“Roxy is an extremely sweet and gentle English Cocker Spaniel who lived most of her life in a kennel where she was not well-socialized. After she came into our family through a rescue organization, we discovered that she has extremely poor eye sight. As a result, she can be very frightened when encountering unfamiliar situations and when meeting new people and animals.
About two years ago we began taking Roxy to Doggy Daycare and Spa on a weekly basis. At first, she has extremely frightened when dropped off in the morning. But thanks to the caring staff and the lack of aggressive dogs at the facility, Roxy looks forward to her Friday visits. Roxy is warmly greeted each morning by the staff and no longer hesitates when entering. Over the past two years we have seen an improvement in her self-confidence.
