  • Ginger Hastings is an auburn colored Goldendoodle who was born on November 5, 2014 and went to live with her human Mom in January 2015. While she absolutely adores her Mom and wouldn’t trade her for the world, if Ginger had her choice, she would live in a forest where she could spend the days exploring.
  • Ginger began attending Daycare at Doggy Daycare and Spa weekly when she was 10 months old. Her Mom gets to enjoy some “alone time” while Ginger hangs out with her fellow hip hounds, Lola, Islay, Maizie, and Lucy. One of Ginger’s favorite activities at daycare is teaching all the new dogs the “ins and outs” of Daycare! Along with daycare, Ginger also enjoys getting pampered at the Spa. Her Mom loves to adorn her
  • When Ginger isn’t helping her Daycare teachers run the show at Doggy Daycare and Spa, she loves to sit under her Mom’s desk while she works. Ginger’s most important duty at home is barking at the neighborhood squirrels and making sure they don’t harm her Mom. She takes this job very seriously.
  • Ginger absolutely loves going for walks, especially around the lake. But you won’t catch this gal in the water! She also loves playing fetch with her favorite toy, a floppy squeaky Santa. She will retrieve it over and over again… as many times as her Mom will throw it.
  • If Ginger could speak, she would definitely tell her Mom to eat more bacon. In fact, Ginger would probably eat bacon all day herself if given the opportunity! She is extremely food motivated and insists on receiving a treat after she finishes her breakfast, after going potty outside, and after dinner!
  • Sometimes Ginger earns her treats! She can sit for her Mom and wait until her Mom tells her it is ok to take a treat. Ginger also can stay, lay down, and shake. A unique trick Ginger can do removing her Mom’s socks off her feet without chewing them up!
  • Proving once again how smart she is, Ginger can tell time and proves it every night at 8pm when she insists upon getting her nightly doggy ice cream treat with a treat for dessert!
  • If you are ever lucky enough to be at Doggy Daycare and Spa when Ginger gets picked up at the end of the day, you will experience the joy of watching her hop on her back two legs all the way to the car! We think she definitely deserves a treat for that!
